As a Creator
Ever since I was young, I was always interested in film and video making. As a kid, I would always make short videos of me doing random things. In 2014, I decided to create a YouTube channel combining my love for gaming with my passion for film. I loved making the videos at the time, even if I didn't have the equipment, software, or editing/production skills that I have now. To this day, I am still active on the channel and upload videos weekly alongside editing, creating thumbnails, and updating channel art. I've had a continuous drive to keep the channel going and put my energy into making content on there. It was never about the numbers or the thought of making money off the platform, but about having fun, creating a community, and potential collaborations. Once those aspects are achieved, I plan to take the channel a step further into becoming a YouTube partner and what follows.
I have been able to better my video editing skills and efficiency as well as camera working throughout my education. I took a creative video class in high school, where I took part in creating and showing weekly school TV segments to the student body as well as working with some outside sources. Going into college, I was able to improve as a video editor as part of my getting my degree in Digital Communications and Social Media. I took classes that included video editing, audio software, podcasting, and motion graphics.
